The DogEaredBookAward, first created in 2017, honors a Middle Grade or Young Adult novel. Students select among 10 books that are recognized for Best Cover, Best First Chapter Read Aloud, and Best Book overall. Students celebrate books by reading, participating in book club discussions, creating banners, and writing social media/launch posts.
